Please click on the link below to find out about our specialist clubs that we are running this term in OSHC.
Back by popular demand, we will be running our specialist clubs again this term. Last year we ran a pilot program for our after school care clubs. This is where one educator holds a club each week highlighting their skills or interests. Each activity will run for approximately 30minutes and allows the students to make try new things and create friendships within a secure and supporting environment.
Monday afternoon- Around the world club with Barnali Get a taste of the street food in India or learn some traditional origami techniques all while remaining in the OSHC. Our cultured educator Barnali shares her knowledge and love for all things around the world.
Tuesday afternoon- Art club with Annie Express yourself in Art club from string art to crafting your own bag tag there is something for all crafting abilities. Our creative educator Annie will guide you as you make a masterpiece to take home.
Wednesday afternoon- Games club with RoseRose our resident game extraordinaire teaches the students some new games and brings back a few ‘oldies but goodies’. One week you might play cards inside and the next might be a game of finska in the sunshine. What a great environment to promote teamwork and getting along skills.
Thursday morning- Technology club with Chelsie Start your Thursday morning off my learning how to code or how to make your own interactive slide show. Whatever is on the agenda for technology club you are sure to have a great time.
Friday afternoon- Sewing club with Chelsie Each Friday afternoon Chelsie share tips and tricks to teach the children the life long skill of sewing. From hand sewing to using a sewing machine there is always something great being produced. Before each session we talk about the importance of safety while using the machine and needles.
